Pen and Ink.
Lately, I have been so steeped in research for upcoming episodes, eLearning projects and a documentary I’m working on – that once the research for at least part of my current workload was over, I became stuck. Not burnt out, just a bit stuck.

Research is just the beginning, isn’t it? Although we write ‘during’ research (SME interview notes, process and document summaries, annotations, etc.), what comes next – to write what we learned about a very complex issue – in a way that others can easily follow can be daunting. And this, of course, can lead to writer’s block for me, at least.
The antidote? Simple fountain pen ink and paper. Sometimes it’s the little things that can kickstart and make the writing process more pleasurable – even in times of writer’s block.
I was in the process of re-inking one of my pens when I thought, hmmm…
Since I have everything out, why not do a mini recording of one of the little tools I use to change things up and refresh my writing space?
So while this isn’t my usual forte, sharing this (video above) was fun — and another creative way to get unstuck.
Back to work! ☺︎
